Workshop with Laura Leong - August 2010
On Wednesday 4th August 2010, we were delighted to have Laura Leong to give a contemporary workshop for our members at Burcot Village Hall. Laura demonstrated different wirework techniques for us, as well as showing us some interesting foliage manipulation techniques using Equisetum (snake grass) and Typha (Reed Mace or Bulrush) foliage. She made several different designs to illustrate these techniques, then we were able to make our own arrangements. Everyone attending had great fun and learned a lot and we would like to thank Laura for her help, patience and expertise.
